Such amendments to the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 1446 of August 30, 2021 were signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

Due to federal support, the regions will be able to reimburse the costs of carrying out major repairs of infrastructure facilities located in such territories. The deadline for state support to compensate for the costs of creating, modernizing and reconstructing the infrastructure of technoparks, industrial parks and special economic zones will increase from 5 to 15 years.

The new measures will help to reduce the financial burden on regional budgets and will contribute to the development of territories.

Special economic zones are created for the development of the manufacturing industry, high-tech sectors of the economy, tourism and port infrastructure. Placement in the SEZ gives the business a number of advantages. First of all, the well-established infrastructure and communications. We are also talking about minimizing administrative barriers, tax benefits and customs preferences.

Industrial parks and technoparks are prepared infrastructure facilities for the placement of industrial production. Currently, 245 such territories are already operating in Russia, and another 122 are at the stage of creation.
